In 1994, when our daughter was born, my wife and I first moved to Pacific Palisades. We purchased a fixer-upper on Embury Street – in The Alphabet Streets – a few blocks from the Village. Some of our fondest memories are of those years – strolling with our toddler to the village, meeting friends for dinner. The Alphabet Streets borders the Palisades Village to the north. It is a thickly settled area of single family homes. Streets are set in alphabetical order thus named Alphabet Streets. Due to its proximity to the Village, homes here are highly sought after.
Homes in the hills above the Alphabet Streets are known as “Above the Alphabets” or “Upper Alphabets.” Some of these homes offer city and ocean views.
